In this blog, several recycled OCC pulps were tested for non-fibrous impurities in a simple and easy way. Wet processed OCC pulp samples have much less impurities and fines screen residuals when compared with dry-milled OCC pulp samples. Jingxing Paper is successfully using wet processed OCC pulp to produce tissue paper and hygiene products with higher bulk, water absorption, and good tensile strength while maintaining softness and drainage through an Andritz deink pulping line and a highspeed Valmet DCT200 HS tissue machine.
